Bryce Harper comes up for the first time since May, and takes a 1-0 pitch the opposite way into the bullpen for a home run and a 1-0 Nationals lead over the Brewers. Bryce certainly has a flair for the dramatic.

Probably tired of watching Puig one-up him for the last month–and Harper is already better than Puig when he’s healthy and playing at peak level (not much better, but then he’s over two years younger than Puig and has the edge of being left-handed). If he can stay healthy and Trout can fully regain his form from last season, there will be a remarkable trio setting pace for what has become an astonishing crop of under-25 players.
