Quality Streak

The Angels won their seventh game in a row Tuesday night, defeating the Cardinals 5-1. The starting pitching in general has been very good during this streak, Jered Weaver pitching the fifth quality start in a row for the team, and they have been high quality starts. Josh Hamilton seems to have found both his hitting stroke and his batting eye as he’s leading the Angels in OBP during the streak. If the Angels can get Hamilton and Pujols hot at the same time, they might not lose again. 🙂

Unfortunately, the Angels are still in a big hole, 8 1/2 games out. Texas and Oakland are not losing enough for the Angels to put themselves back in contention.
