Games of the Day

I like the Blue Jays/Cleveland match-up, as Josh Johnson and Ubaldo Jimenez were great pitchers once, and they might surprise you with a great game every once in a while. It would be fun if they did it on the same night.

The match-up in St. Louis should be interesting as well, as Bud Norris and the Astros face the Cardinals with Adam Wainwright. Norris pitches well for the Astros, and would be a solid #2 or #3 starter on a good team. That might make him trade bait by the end of the month. Wainwright continues to average a walk every ten innings, and has a very good chance of cutting his already low career walk rate by more than half.

Enjoy!

I was at Tex vs O’s game Tues nite to see Adrian Beltre blast out 2 HR & 4 hits & I
again wonder why then Bos GM Epstein let Beltre
walk after 2010 fine season that Beltre had for Bos. What has Bos had to match him at 3B
    since then?
