No-Hit Debut?

Jarred Cosart started for the Astros against the Rays Friday night, his major league debut. Through six innings, he’s throwing a no hitter. He walked two and struck out two so far, Brandon Barnes making an excellent diving catch in the sixth to preserve the no-no. Cosart threw just 69 pitches so far, so the Astros may let him go the distance. Stay tuned.

The Astros lead the Rays 2-0 in the top of the seventh.

Update: Ben Zobrist singles with one out in the seventh to break up the no-hitter. The Astros still lead 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh.
