pft » 43-8 seems like a very unusual score to me. My guess is very few teams score exactly 43 points in a game, as it requires both a large number of touchdowns and field goals, and there aren’t that many scoring opportunities in a game. A team likely needs something unusual to happen, like a missed extra point or some kind of two point play to get to that number. Eight is an unusual number as well, as in professional football it is rare to go for the two-point conversion on the first score.
