Two Lefts Make a Right?

The Indians called up a right-handed reliever named C.C. Lee (Chen-Chang Lee).

Developing big-league starting pitching is incredibly difficult, but the Cleveland Indians found success in the last decade in the form of lefties CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee. Sabathia and Lee gave Cleveland back-to-back Cy Young Award winning seasons in 2007 and 2008. Both pitchers have since been traded, but they’ve combined for 335 Major League wins and they’re both still going strong.

So maybe it was with past successes in mind that the Indians called up Taiwanese righty C.C. Lee from Triple-A Columbus.

Cool.
