Games of the Day

Garrett Crochet tries to stop the White Sox 18-game losing streak as he faces Bailey Ober and the Twins. Crochet is 0-2 with a 5.00 ERA during the streak, failing to go deep in any of the games. Ober keeps runners off base with a .263 OBP, but 41 of his 89 hits allowed went for extra bases, accounting for his 3.76 ERA.

Kyle Harrison takes on Hunter Greene as the Giants try to follow up a no-hitter with a win over the Reds. Harrison owns a .301 BABIP, so in the Reds can put some balls in play against him they should come up with a safety. Greene combines a high K rate of 10.0 per 9 IP with a low BABIP of .245, so he’s the one more likely to throw a no-hitter today.

Finally, Orion Kerkering and the Phillies faces Bryce Miller of the Mariners. The Constellation serves as the opener for the second time in his career. He has not allowed a home run in 43 2/3 career innings. Miller does give up the long ball, with 34 home runs in a two year career of 253 2/3 innings.
